Available for download now is the very latest release of Scorpion Vision Software version 7.2.0.421. This edition contains some enhancements to the existing toolset plus the latest 3D tool, MonoPose3D. This new development contains the latest algorithms that enable 3D Vision using a single camera.

Vision 2009, the European event for the machine vision industry takes place in Stuttgart next month (3-5 November). We'll be demonstrating MonoPose3D at a couple of booths during the show. Baked Product Inspection is the latest Scorpion Vision based product for industry, using Scorpion's robust 3D technology to measure shape and flatness (or otherwise) the machine is designed to check baked products in-line on the production line. A complete product which includes automatic rejection when a product fails, the machine is designed to be fitted retrospectively to bakery production lines.

Sony Scorpion Technology Day takes place 10th December 2009. A major industry event located at Sony HQ in Weybridge, Surrey.
